Caroline's
career started at the age of sixteen when she won the ‘Face of
the Year’ competition being held by photographer, David Bailey,
along with the British Newspaper, The Evening News. After her first
Vogue feature, Caroline was chosen to head the advertising campaigns
for several products, her most famous was as the calendar girl for Lamb's
Navy Rum, a reign which lasted a decade. Caroline's popularity led to
numerous film offers, her best known roles being that of Naomi in the
James Bond movie, The Spy Who Loved Me, and Marigiana in The
Golden Voyage of Sinbad.
While under
contract with Hammer Films (the only actress ever to have been signed
to such a contract with Hammer Studios), Caroline starred in two horror
films, Dracula A.D. 1972 with Christopher Lee and also Captain
Kronos: Vampire Hunter. From her starring roles in several science
fiction/ horror/fantasy films with such noted actors such as Vincent
Price and Peter Cushing, Caroline has gained an escalating fan following
and attends several conventions throughout the world at which she enjoys
the opportunity to meet so many of her fans in person.
Caroline's
repertoire also includes an impressive music resume. At age sixteen
Caroline recorded the single, Tar & Cement for EMI and Producer,
Mark Wirtz. The musicians on that record included Eric Clapton, Ginger
Baker (Cream) and Steve Howe (Yes). Caroline has appeared in two music
videos, Goody Two Shoes with Adam Ant, and If You Really Want To with
Meatloaf. Caroline also recorded the single Pump Me Up with Gary Numan.
Caroline's latest music project is Wilson Munro in which she has teamed
up with Gary Wilson to record a three-track CD.
After several
years away from the business to raise her two daughters, Caroline is
back to work and once again juggling her film and music careers.
